Clementinum is the second largest complex of buildings in the city of Prague after Prague Castle built in Baroque style with later touches of Classicism. It´s history dates back to 11th century, when a chapel of St. Clement and Dominican monastery was found. Later the complex became Jesuit convent and a famous library was placed there. 

In Clementinum complex you may find famous library collection, the first observatory where daily temperature measurements were taken since 1775 and where Kepler discovered the laws of planetary motion, churches of St. Clement, Church of Holy Saviour, Astronomical tower offering a great view over the Prague´s Old Town as well as the most beautiful halls in the whole Clementinum - Baroque Grand Library Hall  and Grand Mirror Chapel –magnificent venue for your wedding ceremony

The Mirror Chapel is richly decorated in frescoes and remained the historical atmoshpere of a 18th centrury Baroque style which offers very special surroundings for your wedding ceremony in a very centre of city of Prague.

During a wedding ceremony in the Mirror Chapel photography and video is allowed free of charge.
