The romantic Baroque chateau of Troja is located in a bend of the Vltava River, close to the Prague´s city centre, surrounded by lovely gardens and an old wineyard. It was built in 17th century for famous Sternberg family
Interiours of the chateau are a real beauty, the main great hall where wedding ceremonies usually take place, is richly decorated by a massive fresco of scenes from the Habsburg dynasty and their victory over the Turks. The atmosphere is simply stunning there.
The grand staircase leading to the magnificent garden is decorated by sculptures depicting gods and goddesses fighting the Titans. The garden itself is a great combination of geometrically patterned hedges, fountains, Baroque sculptures and trees creating a wonderful place for your wedding pictures or after ceremony coctail.
